Madeline is a Principal Engineering Geologist at PSM with over 13 years’ experience delivering geotechnical expertise across dams, mining, tunnelling, pumped hydro and civil projects throughout Australia as well as internationally in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Laos.
Her technical focus includes geotechnical investigations, the development of geotechnical models, slope stability analysis and design, operational geotechnical management and construction-phase services.
Madeline has a strong interest in the development of geotechnical models and geotechnical design in complex geological settings across a range of engineering sectors including dams, open pit and underground mining, tunnels and civil projects. She values seeing these applied and verified through on-site involvement.
Madeline graduated from Macquarie University with First Class Honours in Geology and was awarded the distinguished Preston Geology Prize. She later completed her Master of Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology at the University of New South Wales. Madeline is a registered professional geoscientist (RPGeo) and is an active member of the Australian Geomechanics Society.
